Awesome blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any tips? Kudos!

Thanks! Where you start depends on what you intend to do as a writer. WordPress.com has been a good place for me to learn. If you plan to sell your writing, any products or books, then look into having a Web site built on WordPress.org. I think this will be my next step. Also buy your name with a .com URL. Make sure you have a unique author name and build your brand on that. Check out writers clubs and blogs. Visit a top site for writers at http://writerunboxed.com/ for solid advice.

Hmm i hope you do not get offended with this question, but how much does a site like yours earn?

Hi, thanks for your question. Dog Leader Mysteries does not earn a dime. WordPress.com sites must be noncommercial.
